Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. We are Jonathan and Heather Molan and we are Freedom Church’s lead pastors. We met at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, ND. We married in 2012 and have been pastors since 2013. We moved to Aberdeen June 1 of 2021. Our four children pictured are Elijah, Elizabeth, Joshua, and Lily. They are God’s great treasure to us.

Relationships are everything to us. We see and feel the heart of Jesus most when we are together. Those times we laugh till we cry, when the table becomes a place of connection, and when we pray and fast for positive change in our lives. We strive to center our lives on loving Jesus and loving people. We are truly better together and we are looking forward to making memories with you! We also carry a deep conviction to see the lost found. God’s mandate is that we go into all the world and rescue people. We want to see Aberdeen come to know and follow Jesus and we know you are part of that solution!

Ricky Vargas

Youth Pastor

Hey everybody, my name is Ricardo Vargas but everyone calls me Ricky. I have been the Youth Pastor here at Freedom Church since July of 2024. I am originally from New London, Wisconsin, and have been pursuing the call of God on my life since July of 2019 after I radically encountered the love of Jesus and surrendered my life to him. I moved out to the Dakotas to pursue a bachelors degree in Pastoral ministry at Trinity Bible College and have been doing ministry since. My passion is to see people set free from sin and be transformed by the Love of Jesus. I love coffee, all things outdoors, and music. Have a wonderful day and I hope to see you soon!
